DJ Luck-E made his debut in Spain at 14 years old. He turned the crowd to his hand like a real pro even though at the time he was legally too young to even enter the club.
In his hometown of Antwerp, Belgium it was difficult to get gigs at his age, so he decided to create and promote his own parties instead. He started the Fresh Mode parties in 1999, which quickly became a huge hit. The word of DJ Luck-E began to spread and before long he was playing in most major clubs in Antwerp. Demand for this young DJ increased so rapidly they had to move their events to larger venues.
Luck-E began spinning at well-known clubs such as Cafe d’Anvers, Red & Blue and Le Beau Zoo. Promoters noticed his growing popularity and soon enough he was fully booked in Antwerp, and asked regularly in The Netherlands and France.
He has played with notable DJ’s such as DJ Cut Killer (FR), DJ Chuckie (NL), DJ Kool (US), an afterparty for Busta Rhymes (US) and at festivals Tomorrowland, Laundry Day and Antwerp is Burning amongst others.
In 2004 DJ Luck-E moved to the US to broaden his horizons and explore L.A. nightlife. Fresh on the scene, he landed a residency with Le Carré d’As, a promoter specialized in red carpet events in Hollywood. During his time in Los Angeles he also held gigs at The Standard, Falcon, Spider Club and Avalon.
After four years in the States DJ Luck-E returned to Belgium where he held residencies at numerous clubs, including: Noxx, Vesper, Magic, The Mansion, and Roxy.
DJ Luck-E is currently based out of Bangkok, Thailand and continues to spin his favorite tunes at exciting venues.
